Rising from the deepest of slumbers possible Lainey Daniels rolled over in her bed and almost fell out of her bed, a sudden pang in her stomach made her realise that she was hungry and tried to remember the last time that she had eaten and failed, with a sigh she pushed back the covers and swung her legs over the edge of the bed, she was wearing simple black shorts and white t-shirt her hair was slightly toussled but nothing too major that she was unable to take care of when she stood up. Lainey then did stand up, but not before she again almost fell out of the bed, she had to grab the header to stabilize her balance and began to walk to the relatively small bathroom so that she could splash her face with cold water and wake herself up a little more before anyone else got there before she did and knowing her band members they would beat her to it, as usual. With a shrug of her shoulders Lainey reached the bathroom first and entered, shutting the door and locking it behind her, on tour buses.... there was little or no privacy at all and sometimes it could be annoying as hell.
Quickly, Lainey ran the cold tap on the sink and splashed water on her face, looking up at the mirror above the sink she noticed that she had forgotten to take off her eyeliner from the previous night and now she looked like a panda. A PANDA. She sighed and grabbed the cloth on the side and quickly scrubbed at her eyes, a few moments later her face was fresh, clean and ready for a new coat of eyeliner. Excellent. She finished up in the bathroom relatively quickly and exited it so that she could run to her room and get changed, the hunger pang in her stomach came back and Lainey pressed a hand to her stomach as she rummaged around in her closet for her black skirt, white t-shirt that had the word;; "The Planet Needs You." in big, bold, red lettering and her favorite skinny fit black cardigan with her bands name printed on the back in silver lettering. She changed fast, not forgetting to change her underwear, of course, then walked to the front of the bus so that she could pull on her black and white converse, grab her purse, apply a quick splash of thick eyeliner and jump out. She made her way to the food stand where there was no-one bar for the concessionary, with a smile she walked upto the counter but not before a man cut in front of her.
"Hey!" She cried out at him, the guy turned around and smirked at her "You snooze you loose darling." he told her. But Lainey wasn't going to have any of that and the man behind the counter at the concession stand glared at the guy, he was about ready to serve Lainey when the guy had cut in front of her but the guy was a big man and it was obvious that he didn't want to be threatened by him. Lainey, however, would not give up, she walked up behind him and side stepped around him to the counter, she had been there first, the concession guy knew that she was there first and she wasn't about to not go first. "I just want some..." the guy cut her off and Lainey was shocked, she turned around and he raised an eyebrow at the cardigan she was wearing then Lainey flashed a badge and he moved without an apology. Lainey didn't smile at him, she ordered her food... "...nachos please." She smiled at the concession guy who set to work on her nachos, a few moments later he came back with them, Lainey paid him, grabbed a napkin from the table and went to sit over on the bench, not AT the bench but ON the bench, because that is what she was like.

Rayne had awoken early from her deep slumber and had stumbled out of her bunk on the bus into the bathroom to do her usual morning routine. She put on a few random articles of clothing consisting of her usual knee length shorts, and a tank top. Seeing as how the venue that they had come to last night would not be hot for a few more hours, Rayne also picked a thin sweater and she grabbed her bass case. She loved the instrument and it had cost her a years worth of allowance and work money. Rayne made a quick stop backstage to drop it off and make sure that it would be safe until Heck No! Techno's set which would be much later in the day, and she walked toward the concession stand. Nothing like a soda and junk food to start the day off right!
Rayne noticed that there was no line and was quickly pleased. "Hey, I'd like a soda and some fries please.", Rayne said quickly, and the man behind the counter ran off to get her order. Rayne sighed and tapped her rolled up money on the small counter looking around for a place to eat. Rayne spotted Lainey, the lead singer and guitarist of 'Rawrness' one of the opening bands, sitting by herself nearby. Rayne grinned and quickly paid for her food and made her way over to Lainey.
"Hey!", Rayne said cheerfully plopping herself down next to Lainey, "Why are you up so early?", Rayne asked popping a french fry into her mouth

Sitting on the bench Lainey watched the guy that had attempted to cut in front of her in the now non existant queue as he placed an order of hot dog, fries, fanta and a donut, all large sizes, then as he tried to balance everything in one hand and in the end he just shoved the hot dog in his mouth, paid and walked away, casting a look in her direction. Lainey could tell that he had a smirk on his face and she turned away more than disgusted, it was a no wonder that she didn't like meat. With a sigh she picked up a nacho from her box and popped it in her mouth, savouring the salty taste and crunching it, once she finished that one she picked up another and ate that one too, then she stopped and undid the zipper on her hooded jacket with a flick of her wrist, then she picked up the nacho box and placed it in her lap so that she could properly see what she was eating.
Unaware of Rayne as she was making her way towards the concession stand for fries, Lainey ate her nachos almost robotically as she stared into space, dreaming, day dreaming, about something although her thoughts were perfectly unclear, yes that's right, you heard, perfectly unclear, you know what, just don't ask. It wasn't until Rayne had said Hey to Lainey that she realised she was not alone, she looked up surprised and almost dropped the nachos but soon smiled as she reconised Rayne. "Hey." she smiled and moved over on the bench to allow Rayne to sit down. "I have no idea what the time is." she admitted and shrugged as she ate a few more nachos.

Rayne continued popping a few fries in her mouth and smiled when Lainey said she didn't know what time it was. "Yeah I know what you mean. When you're on tour you kindof loose track of the days and times of days.", Rayne said nodding and taking a sip of her soda.
"I don't mind too much though," Rayne said rambling, "I'm too busy having fun...much to the displeasure of my parents.", She finished with a laugh. "They wanted me to go to college, but I felt that playing music was more worthwhile and rewarding.", Rayne explained not feeling an ounce of homesickness.

Lainey continued to eat her nachos almost robotically as she looked at Rayne while she was speaking. She cast a faint smile back at Rayne when she smiled at her and then placed her nacho box down on the table so that she could stand up and brush herself down, as crumbs from the crispy food had gotten all down her. Once done she didn't bother to sit back down, but instead stayed standing up while taking nachos from her box every so often while listening to Rayne. "Yeah, it can be a drag sometimes, but at least we have fun. right?" Lainey asked picking up another nacho and almost choking on it.
When Rayne spoke of her parents Lainey felt a pang in the pit of her stomach, she had never know her real parents they had died just after she was born. Or so that is what the carers in the orphanage had said before she left them to go to high school and stay with Matt's parents. She decided to tell Rayne this as she considered her to be a friend now and trustworthy. "I never knew my parents." Lainey held back tears, talking of her parents always brought tears to her eyes, she did miss them, although she had never met them. It was a little odd. Lainey tried to smile but must have failed, so she picked up another nacho and popped it into her mouth.
