Violet walked out of the bunks, still in her pajamas and half asleep. She layed down on the couch. She just felt like falling asleep again, but she knew she shouldn't. She decided to turn on the TV, and just see what was on. She turned it on to see one of her favorite shows on, Reba. Yeah sure, it was a show about a family that's a little screwed up, but what could she say, she loved it. So, sitting there watching it, she waited for herself to wake up, and for the coffee to be done. Coffee was her drug in the morning. Without it, she'd probably die, on the couch, and she's not sure if that's what she wanted today. So, she waited there, watching TV, and laying on the couch, in her pajamas with dragons across them. Ezra had woken up hours ago, nearly before the sun even rose, he needed a cigarette. He had promised his mother that he would quit, that was what he said, no more early morning smoking, no more smoking period, but the tour had brought on more stress than he had figured. Ezra was surprised at how many people actually got up so early. Tour life was full of those kind of surprises. Ezra met up with some of the guys, and they hang been hanging out, doing mostly nothing, when he noticed that more than a few hours had passed, and Violet was probably getting up about then. She wasn't much of an early bird, and neither was Ezra, but he wasn't a heavy sleeper either, one loud noise and he was up. Ezra was thinking of all this as he walked up slowly to the tour bus of The Plastic Smiles. He loved that band name, it was terrific. It was mostly Violet's wonderful imagination that worked the magic, but in this case, Ezra had contributed a fair amount of creative thinking.
Opening the door, stepped into the dimly lit tour bus. It was around eight in the morning, Ezra was fairly surprised that he had woken so early. He found Violet within second of entering the area, she was sitting in those ridiculous dragon pajamas, watching that strange distorted family show, Reba. "Come on, Vi," Ezra said as he stood between his band mate and the television. "Can't we watch something else? I have the whole second season of The Office in my suitcase." He offered, knowing full well that Reba was one of Violet's favorite shows, and even if she was having a good day, she would refuse watching anything else, and Ezra would have to cope with that. As always. Violet was getting her way again, and Ezra truthfully didn't mind at all, but he liked to accuse her of being a dictator and control freak all the same.

Violet looked at him. "I might consider it if you get me coffee," she said quietly and sheepishly. She knew that she was going to say no to the office. She didn't want to give up the television. But, it was a good way to not get off her lazy ass and get coffee herself. She just smiled a bit, with puppy dog eyes, waiting for his answer. She was basically pleading with the eyes she had on. She kept on staring at him, not moving her eyes at all, until he finally answered.

Ezra let out a long sigh, it was supposed to make Violet feel guilty, but he knew it never worked. Walking towards the "kitchen" area of the tour bus, Ezra looked behind him at Violet sitting on the couch. "Fine." He said, knowing this was a lose-lose situation for him, he would have to get Vi her coffee and watch her show, but he was in a good mood, and willing to cooperate. He actually had grown fond of the show Reba, he didn't like it, but he didn't hate it either, it was amusing, and if Violet liked it so much, they he figured she deserved to watch it. Fumbling with two coffee cups, Ezra managed to pour an even amount of coffee into each, with the desired amount of sugar and cream. He knew how he took his coffee, and he knew how Violet took hers. They were like one working being, except Ezra was currently doing all the work.
Handing one of the two cups of delicious coffee to Violet, Ezra held the other with both hands and sat down on the couch. "Why do you like this show so much?" Ezra said, shaking his head. He would complain about it, but it would get him no where. Since Ezra was a young boy he knew he wanted to go place, Spain used to be first on the list, but then as he grew older, Ezra realized, it didn't matter where he went, as long as he was making music. Now here he was, it still wasn't sinking in. Ezra could repeat it a thousand times, and yet, it would still all seem like a dream. The only real thing was Violet. As long as she was there, he knew he couldn't be dreaming, she kept him awake in this confusing and once-in-a-lifetime dream he was living.

"That's a good question. One I can't answer. I guess there's just some things you're drawn to, and you have no idea why," she said, looking at him, and taking a sip of her coffee. It was made exactly to her liking. The best part about having Ezra has her best friend, and band mate, was that he knew her like she knew herself, and vise versa. He basically knew everything about her, and knew when she was having an off day. Though, today started out normally. Violet on the couch with coffee. Just like any other morning on this tour. [/size]
