Drew smiled at her comment. "Well first time or not, you have talent." he said with a wink. He watched her sitting there for a moment, thinking. He was pretty sure that she would do fine with a song since they were just a big string of cords.
He smiled at her, "Wanna try a song?" he asked with confidence, he knew she would do fine.

She smiled at him. "Thanks," she said quietly. Then she looked at him, when he asked if he could do a song. "I'd love to try a song," she said, confidently. This was new for her, because she never thought she could be so confident on playing a song.

Drew smiled, "No problem." he said with a wink. He tried to think of an easy song. He couldn't really think of one. "What song do you listen to the most, that has a lot of guitar?" he asked with a glint in his eye.
A song you knew was easier to start with than a random one picked from the radio.

"Um. I don't know," she said, smiling a little. She thought for a little while, but she couldn't think of a song. "I can't think of one," she said.

He tried to think of something easy but couldn't, he flipped on the xboz and put in guitar hero hoping to find a beginner song title to use.
It took him a few moments of scrowling and he finally came up with Guns 'N' Roses, the one he knew by heart. He smiled. "Wanna try it?" he asked with a smile.

"Sure," she said. Though, she didn't have one hint of confidence on her face, like when she was playing just a little bit earlier. She couldn't play a song at all.

Drew smiled at her, "You'll do fine, don't get discouraged if you can't get it the first time." he said with confidence, he winked at her. He knew she could do it, she had the talent.
He plucked the beginning strings of the song, letting her get the feel of it. He didn't do too many at first, he didn't want to overwhelm her. "Just try, don't give up." he said with a smile.

"Okay," she said, listening to him play. She played the chords once. But it sounded awful. She was afraid to try again. "I don't know," she said, looking at him, "Maybe I'm just not suppose to be playing the guitar..." she said.

Drew frowned a bit, "Don't be so hard on yourself, you only tried it once. Try again." he said encouraging her. He wanted her to really try before she gave up.
He played the song once again, taking it slow so she could catch on. He wanted her to try, challenge herself, he knew she could do it.

She tried again, getting a few more notes, but still, sounded bad. She still looked like she had no confidence, and she didn't. She felt like she couldn't do it, and that was kind of affecting her.

Drew watched and listened as she played the first part of the song. He had a lot of confidence in her, even though you could see that she was losing confidence in herself. She was slowly getting better, but she needed a confidence boost.
He thought for a second, and smiled at. "You're doing great, please don't give up now." he said with a confident and encouraging smile.

She looked at him. "I don't know. It seems complicated," she said, shrugging a bit. She never had confidence like everyone else around her. She always had lack of confidence in everything. Even if she knew she could do it.

Drew put his arm on her shoulder and smiled at her a bit. "You'll be fine, I know you'll do great and you have no one to impress but yourself." It was true, he wouldn't hold anything against her, he just wanted her to challenge herself and come out on top.
He showed her the cords once more, taking each one slowly and repeated them a few times each. He wanted her to get the feel. Soon she would be able to play the song as he did. "Just try." he said with a warm smile.

"Okay," she said. She played them once more, not really knowing how they sounded. She looked at him. A questioning look on her face, to see if she did well or not.

Drew listened to her play the cords, and a smile spread across his face. She was doing great and the sound was almost perfect. He could see the questioning look on her face and decided to make her wait for a moment.
He closed his eyes and then opened them, looking straight at her. His face was expressionless until he confessed. A smile crept onto his face once more as he told her. "That was almost perfect." he said with a big grin. "Good job." he was proud of her.
