Violet picked a random character that she had no idea of. She was surprised that she even knew what button to push. "How do I play?" she asked, sounding like a little kid, who had no idea what they were doing. She looked at him with confusion all over her face. She looked at the controller again, seeing if she could figure it out.

Drew smiled at the few necessary controls, he pointed a each, one at a time and told her what they did. He made sure he had told her everything and was waiting to start the game.
"Think you're ready?" he asked with a smile, he was sure that she would do fine. He would take it easier on her the first few times, probably let her win a few rounds. He smiled, he couldn't wait to see how she did.

She looked at him a bit, nervously. "Yes?" she asked, not sounding sure of herself. If there was one thing she didn't like, was not knowing how to do something. And that was exactly the problem that was happening at this moment.

Drew saw how nervous she was and smiled at her a bit. "No need to worry, I'm not that good either." he said as the game loaded to the competition screen. "You'll be fine." he said trying to reasure her.
He watched the screen change over to the playing field and waiting to begin. When it did, he began to stand there, letting Violet take a few practice shots on him.

Violet just looked at the screen. She didn't know what she was doing, and shot something up in the air. "Wait, what?" she asked. She basically forgot everything he told her, and was now looking at the screen, like it had just gone blank, and erased everything.

Drew smiled a bit, "No worries." he said reaching over to show her the controls again. "It does take bit of getting used to." he aimed her character at his and showed her how to fire. His guy fell back a few steps and just stood there, waiting for more.
He showed her all of the buttons again, making sure she knew which one did what. "Take a few shots at me." he said with a smile.

Violet looked at the remote, and clicked the button that shot, and hit Drew a few times. She then pushed the up on the remote, and her screen went down. "Okay, that makes no sense. It's suppose to go up, not down," she said, turning to him. She still had a confused look on her face. She had a feeling she was never going to be able to do this.
(( OOC: I don't remember if halo has the controls like that. I'm pretty sure they do though ))

Drew smiled at her comment. "Opposites." was all that came out of his mouth. He looked over at her and smirked as he took a shot at her.
He felt a bit bad for her, but she was a smart girl, she'd catch on soon enough. He helped her reposition the character and waited for her to shoot again.
ooc: I haven't played in a while so i can't remember.

Violet looked at him, and wrinkled her nose. "I don't like this game," she said. She didn't want to be rude, and she barely gave it a chance, but it confused her. She rejected anything that made her confused.

Drew smiled a bit, "You're doing fine but if you don't want to play that's okay." he said as he reached over and shut the game off. He got off the couch and stumbled into the kitchen, he came back into the room a few moments later with two cans of coke that had his name clearly written on a piece of tape.
He smiled as he handed her one. "Thought you might want this." he said with a laugh as he sat back down beside her and took a sip from his can.

Violet smiled at him. "Thanks," she said quietly. She leaned back on the couch, tired. The mall had wiped her out. And now she was paying for it on this couch. She took a sip of the coke, and closed her eyes for a second.

Drew smiled a bit. "No problem." he said with a laugh. He was pretty tired from the trip to the mall. He watched her take a sip and close her eyes.
"You tired too?" he asked with a smile. He took a sip of his coke. It felt good and cold running down his throat.

"Mhm," was all she managed to get out. She was really tired, and couldn't help but just lay there. "You?" she asked, never opening her eyes.

Drew smiled at her small muffled reply. "Yeah I'm beat." he said with a laugh. He felt exhausted, but he knew he hadn't done that much. He wasn't used to doing that much during the day, he usually slept to get ready for concerts but not this week.
He took a sip of his coke and smiled, he was still having fun with her.

"What should we do?" she asked, lifting her head and opening her eyes. She smiled at him, and then took a sip of the coke. She didn't feel like moving, though she wouldn't mind doing something.
