The coffee cup was empty and she decided that maybe another one was in order. Lainey was about to get up and excuse herself for a moment when Drew spoke again and she slouched a little more. Getting back up in her seat properly, Lainey smiled. "Thanks. At the moment we're one man short and will be like that for a while."
"Oh, nothing really, I mean I always liked singing..." Her thoughts trailed off a little as she remembered her time in the orphanage and the little pantos they did. Lainey smiled and picked up her coffee cup again. "How about yourself? But, please excuse me for one moment, I seem to have run out of caffiene, would you care for another while I'm up?" Lainey stood up.

Drew smiled, "Singings a good reason." He listened to her talk for a moment. When she asked him about getting more coffee, he grabbed his cup from the table and put out his hand for hers. "Allow me." he said with a smile.
He didn't want her to have to keep moving around on that knee if she didn't have to. Plus he liked to do nice things. He stood there, waiting for her to release her cup to him.

Yeah, I thought so too. Lainey thought as Drew said that Singing's a good reason, she smiled a little more and felt herself beginning to relax a little more in his company, he seemed fun and very down to earth, something that Lainey had never met before in anyone. "Yeah, singing is good." She smiled before getting up to go and get more coffee.
But Drew had beaten her to it, her eyes flickered gently as she heard him say "Allow me." and held his hand out for her cup. Well Lainey wasn't going to not take him up on that offer, she really wasn't supposed to be out and about walking anyway. She had strict orders to stay and home and rest. With a mock sigh she released her hold on her cup. "Why thank you, that is very kind." She smiled and sat back down.

Drew smiled as she took her cup and got more coffee. She was a sweet girl, too bad she was already taken. Her boyfriend was really lucky. Once the cups were filled he walked back over to the table and carefully sat Lainey's down in front of her."It's not a problem." he said with a smile, indicating the coffee.
He sat down and sipped on his drink a bit, it was hot, and it helped wake him up a bit more. He would be charged in a while, caffeine made him alive in the morning.

While waiting for her coffee, Lainey thought about all the things that had happened to her within the past few days, everything had happened so suddenly and she had no idea how she was handling it right now, she began to think about how it easy it would have been for Matt to have been killed by the guy that had been shooting, and for how grateful she was that he had survived, or so she hoped anyway. Lainey shook her head to dispell those thoughts, she didn't need them right now.
When Drew came back with the coffee she smiled up at him as he placed her cup down on the table in front of her and picked it up with both hands, the warmth spreading up her arms and going to her head. She was aware of things now and she could stop thinking of all those thoughts. "Thanks again." She smiled at him and took a sip of the sweet, sweet coffee.

"No problem." he said with a smile. He looked at her for a second, trying to think of something to ask, to spark conversation. He knew not to ask about Matt, he didn't want to start her crying again, it would make him uneasy.
He thought for a moment and smiled when he finally came up with something. He sipped his coffee for a moment and then looked at her, his mind working rapidly with the new charge of caffeine. "What do you like to do when you're not on stage?" he asked with a smile.

Sipping the coffee, Lainey was amused by the patrons that had just entered, they seemed to be making an awful ruckus and it was amusing her, of course it was petty, but afterall she was still a child really and simple things amused her. She took another sip of her coffee and began to wonder what to say, until Drew saved her from stuttering by asking her a question.
Lainey smiled, took another sip of her coffee and deliberately set down her cup. "Take walks, play guitar hero, read, write new songs, you know, things like that. How about yourself?" She asked, Lainey didn't really like doing anything else, she was pretty much a shy person and hardly went out anywhere.

Drew listened when she spoke, he sipped his drink and looked at her. He smiled when she mentioned what she did, it sounded exaclty like him. "You sound just like me, except that i run more oftent than I walk." he said with a laugh. "You any good at guitar hero?" he asked, if she was he'd definitely have to play her sometime.
He looked at her and smiled, she seemed like a really nice girl and she was definitely fun to hang out with. He hoped that they could become good friends.
